Whether you need a full installation service, including furniture moving, demo, install and baseboard adjustment or if you’re DIY - er and want to experience our installation classes at the shop. We tailor the work we do to your exact needs.
How do I get started?Getting started is simple. Either call our store phone at 319-320-6935 or fill out the contact form on our site and we’ll reach out to you within 24 hours to discuss your project and get the ball rolling.
What makes you different?We work with you as homeowners, as neighbors, as friends. We are not here to use you as numbers or profit margins. We genuinely want to improve your house, to be able to look at the finished project and congratulate you on how awesome your house looks over a cup of coffee.
What is Fourth Gen Flooring?We are first and foremost a store and design firm. Whether you’re planning on doing the labor yourself or hiring us to handle the manual labor. We are here to help you choose the proper flooring both structurally and stylistically for the areas you want remodeled.
Do you only do labor?
No, we offer materials that we can do the install on if you wish but if you’re wanting to just pick up materials and try your own hand at the install then we are more than happy to supply materials and to walk you through with one of our local DIY classes.
Do you refinish old floors?
Yes, refinishing existing hardwood is a speciality of ours. We’ve very rarely ran into a hardwood floor that couldn’t be saved. Don’t give up on your hardwood too soon
